Working papers

The Working Paper series presents research by IMAD experts as well as contributions resulting from collaboration with external authors whose work is related to that of the Institute. The papers address development issues from a range of methodological, empirical and theoretical perspectives. Topics examined in the Working Paper series may also provide a basis for other IMAD publications. The main purpose of the papers is to encourage the exchange of ideas on current economic and development issues. Timely publication of analyses is therefore important, even when the findings are still preliminary. The papers may be reproduced or summarised in whole or in part, provided that the source is duly acknowledged. Authorship must be attributed to the author of the paper and not to IMAD.
